Influence festival (@Karditsa)

Influence festival is an event that holds arts, creation and bike together. The festival took place in Karditsa town, at 8th-9th of March. It was quite good  as being for the first time.

I took part with a bike art construction, I had create in the past. The festival for me, was 3 days with full of cool friends and good vibration, great hosting, lot of painting from day to night and chill places. The 1st day I painted a local school with the help of Urban act. Then my pals Don40, Blaqk, Lelos and Uncle Chronis arrived and we made some wicked freestyles.

FUN ≠ ΖΩΗ (Athens Bikefest vol. 3)

Hello people,

This wonderful post contains 2 different meanings, in one whole project under one positive vibration.

Idea/Canvas

All this, has to take out for Athens Bike festival v.3, that took place at Texnopolis / Gazi, as every year. It's not something constructive this time but a common canvas that I painted. But the thing with this canvas is that you can see the word "Fun" on it but you can spell it also like "Ζωή". Ζωή is a Greek word that means Life. So... life could be fun... fun is life! Take it as you want, feel it as you need!!!

Stop Motion

In between and after the painting of this canvas, I decided to make a stop motion video. I had some great help from my lovely Natasa Spinth, and we made this short story of this canvas. A canvas that would be painted and travel till the exhibition point. 800 frames in total, with an old Nikon D40.

Music

After the motion, music walks on by! I asked from my friend Emi Path to compose an abstract music track for the video. She did great work and the last part was the sound design that i think, was really needed. I recorded some noises around and joined everything together. After some changes we ended up on this...

I really love it and hope you love it too.

Red Bull collective art

Red bull had the idea to create the biggest design "in a row" event, globally. Collecting many artist from around the world and fit all of them in the same line!

My participation in this event was twice an action! In this post you will check my digital design for collective art and the live painting at AKTO college.

Burger board - Surfboard art

News from All sports show & fashion last year.

4 days exhibition in Metropolitan Athens international Airport with extreme sports, fashion, trade shows and more! I have been there with Cohete surfboards for some live action paintings on the boards during these days.

Stefan Knopp

Hello people...

some old news in a fresh new years time!

And that goes to Stefans Knopp van, that we painted with Sonke and Tensa at Stroke - Urban Art fair in Munich, May 2012. To tell the truth, it was a pure luck that we met such a good guy like Stefan.

 He came alone from Austria with his white transporter to join the exhibition. We were fooling around the exhibition when we met Stefan and have some short talk. So... this conversation ended up between some beers and good vibrations. Stefan liked our way and our painting styles and he asked from the organization of Stroke to have a live show with his van been painted by Sonke, Tensa and me! The show took part the second day of the exhibition some meters far from the entrance! Good spot...

Stroke Urban art fair 2012 (Munich)

As the story keeps on moving, we continue from the start...   What?

Simek one & Greg Papagrigoriou, good friends and great artists known as Blaqk had a call before one year from Germany to participate in Stroke - Urban art fair 2012 in Munich. When Blaqk announced that,  some friends and I liked the idea to see this exhibition. So we left Greece as a Greek mission to Munich... Blaqk, Sonke Tensa one, Tsutsu Brutsu and I. The truth is that the time we joined the Stroke we got mad with so much and good art and really wanted to take part in such organization no matter what!!!

Sonke made the connections and we ended up painting live at the open air of the exhibition. "The Mediterraneans"(me, Sonke, Scount, Blaqk) were there holding the place and painting till late night. Great experience between 10.000 visitors!!! I created also a canvas during these days... " The owl".

Thanks a lot to Blaqk for this opportunity!

Athens Bike Festival 2 - Humans bestfriend

Humans best friend can not be everyone... but a bicycle could easily be!

This years Bike Art fest concept was quite strange for me... a true blink, a vision! I remember being at a friends place the time i saw a wrecked bicycle saddle that looked like a dog face and specific a lambrador dog face.

So... i took this saddle and i dismembered all the parts to clean them, scratch and paint them as new. Then i stick the parts together and put a new foam with leather to cover it. After that i paint the leather as a lambrador dog and i put some extra leather for the ears. The last part of this construction was the backround. A nice painted rim took a place at the back of the lambrador saddle and the typography "humans bestfriend" was made with metallic wire.

This construction participated at Athens bike festival - Bike art 2 in Technopolis Gazi. Hope all the bike lovers who visited the exhibition enjoy it...
