Cafe de flore

Hello everybody,

I hope you had a great time during Christmas. I wish you Happy New year and stay heavy.

The 1st post for 2014 comes with a fresh painting in Cafe de Flore(CF) at Artemis(Loutsa), Attiki. Cafe de Flore is actually a "replica" of Cafe de Flore in Paris, a worldwide famous cafe place.

After visiting Cafe de Flore, I knew I had to sketch, some old French style town and aesthetic too...  something around 1900 - 1920. This kind of painting, is a style that i really like and wanted to paint on a wall one day. During the painting sessions I had a missing part... covered.

Jagermeister christmass tree 2014

Hello there...

I had another collaboration this year with Jagermeister Greece. The concept we are working on, is to construct creative deco for the beloved bars of Jagermeister in Athens city, Greece. Roloi bar is one of them and got its new Christmas tree from Jagerneister and Boohaha in this continuous collaboration. 90 bottles on 9 levels with 10m light and a collectable jagermeister box on top.

Death Note surfboard art

Hello there...

I got a new surfboard art for all the Manga freaks...

This is a brand New cohete surfboard I painted custom. The main theme on this painting, comes from the Death Note (manga) series and comics. During my talk with my customer, I had to choose one of the characters of Death Note. I chose the most weird... this wicked and sensitive monster, the "Ryuk" who loves apples. I had also to write on the board the lyrics of the theme song of the movie in Japanese(!?). That was quite harmful to tell the truth, because is the first time I write something in Japanese.

I love comics and animated stuff, but i' m not that into manga style and especially that kind of manga. No matter what, this graphic was just another experimental take with mixed media and strange(first time) techniques on the process.

satan surfs (surf art)

Hello believers...

here comes a massive -surf art- graphic I created on a Cohete Tiny Tank model. This is a custom graphic for a customer that loves metal+hardcore music. The theme of this design, comes from the 4Quad shake logo I have created in the past for Cohete surfboards.

The colors I used are acrylic paints and Posca markers. It all came to a great result through some new painting techniques. I saw it in the water too being surfed. Love it...

FUN ≠ ΖΩΗ (Athens Bikefest vol. 3)

Hello people,

This wonderful post contains 2 different meanings, in one whole project under one positive vibration.

Idea/Canvas

All this, has to take out for Athens Bike festival v.3, that took place at Texnopolis / Gazi, as every year. It's not something constructive this time but a common canvas that I painted. But the thing with this canvas is that you can see the word "Fun" on it but you can spell it also like "Ζωή". Ζωή is a Greek word that means Life. So... life could be fun... fun is life! Take it as you want, feel it as you need!!!

Stop Motion

In between and after the painting of this canvas, I decided to make a stop motion video. I had some great help from my lovely Natasa Spinth, and we made this short story of this canvas. A canvas that would be painted and travel till the exhibition point. 800 frames in total, with an old Nikon D40.

Music

After the motion, music walks on by! I asked from my friend Emi Path to compose an abstract music track for the video. She did great work and the last part was the sound design that i think, was really needed. I recorded some noises around and joined everything together. After some changes we ended up on this...

I really love it and hope you love it too.

Festival of colours / Athens 2013

Festival of colors in Athens/Greece.

Organized by some citizens and many other active people, at Metaksourgio. A festival without sponsors and profiteering by bad manners... just pure love for life! 

Many artists painted in this fest and spread colors in Metaksourgio area. I painted on the most central "hang around" square  next to my pals Don40, Blaqk.

Great festival, super fun, happy people and colors everywhere... Where have you been?
