Rolling Fellows live poster (Tom and Jerry)

Hello,

check out this poster i created for my bands gig. We played in a bar that is called Tom & Jerry based in Vrilissia / Athens. So.. I knew it from the start... Tom & Jerry would be my characters in this poster! My first thoughts about this poster were way wicked but the time was pushing and I kept more classic, just redesigning those fellows!!!

Acid - surfboard art

It's a long time I had paint this Cohete mini malibu surfboard. Almost 4 years!

I thought it was good to get out of the box and get exposed. This model is the "All Around Magic Pro". A progression of the classic malibu "All Around Magic"(AAM) of Cohete surfboards.  I redesigned the template of AAM in the search of progression.

The graphic i wanted for this board was something completely lost. Like an old Acid rock Vinyl cover. The space Odyssey of surf. Something really wicked and tripy same time. I designed all the logos in AI in a psychedelic symmetrical way. The space environment was painted freehand with a crappy airbrush and the white lights with stencil cuts.

Good to mention that it was my first attempt of using freehand an airbrush!!!

Stefan Knopp

Hello people...

some old news in a fresh new years time!

And that goes to Stefans Knopp van, that we painted with Sonke and Tensa at Stroke - Urban Art fair in Munich, May 2012. To tell the truth, it was a pure luck that we met such a good guy like Stefan.

 He came alone from Austria with his white transporter to join the exhibition. We were fooling around the exhibition when we met Stefan and have some short talk. So... this conversation ended up between some beers and good vibrations. Stefan liked our way and our painting styles and he asked from the organization of Stroke to have a live show with his van been painted by Sonke, Tensa and me! The show took part the second day of the exhibition some meters far from the entrance! Good spot...

Stroke Urban art fair 2012 (Munich)

As the story keeps on moving, we continue from the start...   What?

Simek one & Greg Papagrigoriou, good friends and great artists known as Blaqk had a call before one year from Germany to participate in Stroke - Urban art fair 2012 in Munich. When Blaqk announced that,  some friends and I liked the idea to see this exhibition. So we left Greece as a Greek mission to Munich... Blaqk, Sonke Tensa one, Tsutsu Brutsu and I. The truth is that the time we joined the Stroke we got mad with so much and good art and really wanted to take part in such organization no matter what!!!

Sonke made the connections and we ended up painting live at the open air of the exhibition. "The Mediterraneans"(me, Sonke, Scount, Blaqk) were there holding the place and painting till late night. Great experience between 10.000 visitors!!! I created also a canvas during these days... " The owl".

Thanks a lot to Blaqk for this opportunity!
